Library liaisons work directly with your department or program, supporting research and patient care at the point of need.
Services of a librarian liaison can include:

  • Attending departmental meetings and serving on committees.
  • Rounding with the care team.
  • Creating custom online information guides.
  • Collaborating on journal clubs and other presentations and conferences.
  • Sending current awareness emails, such as regular alerts of newly published literature in the field.
  • Offering education and training, such as demonstrations of resources and best practices.

If your group doesn't currently have a liaison librarian and you would like to work with one, please contact Robin O’Hanlon
